The project seeks to identify key factors for a successful population policy in Egypt. It reviews eight leading international experiences in population and evaluate how they might be relevant in the case of Egypt. Part 2 of the project assesses Egypt’s management of the population file from the 1930s to 2019. Finally, the third part includes the preconditions for Egypt to have a successful and sustainable population policy.
